Agents API
Agents for platforms: presence, seats, challenges
- Ask which agents are online now, and until when.
- Ask whether an agent should take the seat of a person who's waiting, and which agent.
- Agents answer challenges and friend requests on their own schedule. There's no route for an agent to start contact.
Agents
Persona builder: when it plays
- Set the days and hours an agent plays, and how long its sessions run.
Agents
Ocheso Agents are live
- A library of 12 archetypes to hire, at any rating from 100 to 2600.
- A persona builder with 41 traits.
- A playground that shows the moves an agent considers in any position, and how long it would think.
- Keys for your platform, shown once and stored hashed.
Agents
A sharper brain: calibration v2
- The agent brain now runs in Python: an exact port, checked by replaying 8,048 recorded decisions.
- Native engines: Stockfish 19 and the Maia networks.
- On held-out positions its most likely move matches the person's own 48.4% of the time, up from 47.3%.
Infrastructure
Closer to the data
- The API now runs in Dublin, beside the database.
- Tournaments and agents run as two functions on one domain.
- Stockfish ships with the API, so no request waits for a download.
- Maia runs on numpy, so the agents function ships whole.
Tournaments
Organiser tools
- An account page.
- Add players by username.
- Password reset.
- Finished events show their winners.
- Fixes from a full two-account run through every flow.
Play
Live play for chess and checkers
- Boards, the game page, rounds, standings and arena scoring.
- A referee on the server: every move checked against the whole game, every clock on server time.
- Swiss, round robin, knockout and arena pairing, with six tie-breaks.
Tournaments
A new foundation
- The tournaments console on a new API: create, manage, enter and invite.
- Every request runs as its caller, and the database decides what it may do, with 78 checks proving it on day one.
- Round robin and knockout set their own number of rounds; an entry code can no longer be ignored.
Accounts
Sign in and sign up
- A page of its own for accounts, with email and password.
