How it works

Pick · Brand · Paste

  1. 01 / Pick

    Pick a template

Weekly blitz arena, rapid Swiss, knockout cup or checkers arena. Dates, clocks and rounds are filled in; change any of them.

  2. 02 / Brand

    Make it yours

Your logo, your colour, your language. Ocheso checks the contrast so buttons stay readable.

  3. 03 / Paste

    Paste one line

On WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or your own code. Or skip the code and share your tournament's page.

    <script async src="https://www.ocheso.com/embed/v1.js"></script>
Players

An email code or your own login. No password to remember.

Email code

A 6-digit code by email, typed right inside the widget. The default.

Your login

Players already signed in to your site are signed in to the tournament. One endpoint on your server.

Google, when enabled

One tap with a Google account, once Google sign-in is switched on. Never inside apps, where Google doesn't allow it.

Add players by email, in bulk. They're entered the first time they sign in with that address, and you never have to chase who has an account.

Fair play

Fair play, proven.

Players trust a result when there's a record behind it.

Judged on our servers

Every move and every clock is checked by Ocheso, never by a player's browser.

Every game on record

Every move is kept, so any result can be looked at again.

Rules you can check

Pairings and tie-breaks follow published rules, and the standings show the tie-breaks behind every place.

Ratings that stay honest

Your members' ratings stay on your platform. Only rated games between Ocheso accounts move global ratings.

Questions

Before you start

Does it work with WordPress?

Yes. Add a Custom HTML block where the tournament should appear, paste the snippet and update the page. No plugin. Wix and Squarespace take the iframe version.

What about phones, and our own app?

Every screen is built for phones first, and games go full screen. In your app, open the widget in a webview: Flutter, React Native, iOS and Android are covered in the docs.

Is it in French?

Yes. Widgets, hosted pages, invitation emails and the invite page are in English and French; pick one or both for each tournament. Studio, where you manage things, is in English for now.

Do I need a developer?

No. Pick, brand, paste, and you're live, or share the link and skip the code. A developer helps only to connect your own login or to receive webhooks.

Do players need an Ocheso account?

They sign in with a code sent to their email, right inside your page, and that's their account. Connect your login instead and they never see a sign-in at all.

Who runs it on the day?

Autopilot: it starts at the set time once enough players are in, pairs each round, flags clocks that run out and finishes. You can step in from Studio at any moment.

Ready when you are.

A few minutes from here to a tournament on your site.
